GAIC Professional Services Inc. is seeking a QC Engineer for offshore engineering teams to ensure OSP designs meet client standards and are ready for submission.
You will perform comprehensive quality reviews of FTTH, fiber routing, and cable design packages, validate field data, and provide constructive feedback to design engineers, supporting continuous improvement and FTA metrics.
Perform comprehensive quality reviews of all OSP engineering design packages, including fiber overbuild, FTTH, and BAU work orders, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with client standards
Review and validate F1/F2 fiber routing, splitter placements, terminal and splice point locations, and overall FTTH network architecture
Verify aerial, underground, and buried cable designs have been analyzed for cost-effective solutions and proper placement per client scope of work
Identify design deficiencies that could impact network buildout and provide clear, constructive feedback to responsible design engineers via QC checklists
Validate field-collected data, KMZ files, photos, and route alignments for accuracy and completeness prior to client submission
Ensure Corning FlexNap cable designs, terminal placements, and cable count distribution standards meet client requirements
Support first-time acceptance (FTA) metrics by ensuring designs meet all client quality control benchmarks before delivery
Maintain documentation standards and support continuous improvement of QC processes across the offshore engineering team
