SHOULD BE a Graduate of Course Related in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines.

SHOULD HAVE a 2–4 years of experience in FTTH/Outside Plant (OSP) construction, quality control, or document supervision.
SHOULD HAVE an INTENSE UNDERSTANDING of FTTX network architectures and principles. · Able to communicate professionally with workmates, partners, and clients.
Demonstrates adherence to instructions, priorities, and objectives set by the Team Lead/Manager.
Able to develop the habit of following established procedures to produce credible documentation.
Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail in project execution.
Able to quickly learn and proficiently use new software and tools required for validation and documentation. · Familiarity with, and basic ability to use, mapping and network design software.
Available to travel from the CommScope office when required.
The QA Engineer (Backoffice) is responsible for managing operational documentation, data accuracy, and compliance related to FTTx installations. This role involves reviewing installation reports, validating As-Built BOQs, analyzing project data, and auditing technical documentation to ensure fiber deployments meet telecommunications standards, project requirements, and client expectations. Through the audit and validation of workflows, the QA Engineer helps prevent errors, maintain company standards, and ensure adherence to established standard operating procedures (SOPs). Working closely with internal teams, deployment partners, and clients, the QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all required documentation, records, and BOQ submissions are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
This role is critical to both project delivery and commercial success, as validated As-Built BOQs directly support client invoicing, deployment partner payments, revenue recognition, and cost control. By maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance, the QA Engineer helps protect project profitability while ensuring successful project acceptance and client satisfaction.
Identify, document, and track operational errors across all documents involved in completion requirements for the client.
Review documents submitted by partners or other teams to produce credible and accurate Acceptance Documents.
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Field Engineers, and Deployment Teams to unblock delays and transition sites from construction to operational status.
Closely involved in FTTH and FTTB As-Built BOQ validation to ensure smooth submission to the client and support internal audits.
Work closely with the PMO Team and Deployment Partners to create billing support documents and ensure there are no billing errors.
Coordinate with the Material Manager and Field Engineers to verify the correctness of material line items included in the BOQ Tracker. · Oversee project tracking systems and report progress updates.
Identify defects or incomplete items, issue corrective action requests to contractors, and verify that corrective actions have been implemented.
Maintain accurate monitoring of sites to identify required actions and ensure deliverables are completed.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve documentation quality, efficiency, and consistency across the project.
Ensure all deliverables are completed within agreed timelines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.
Quickly learn and effectively utilize new software, systems, and tools required to support FTTX documentation and validation.
Validate and maintain accurate As-Built BOQs to support client billing, deployment partner payments, revenue recognition, and cost control while ensuring compliance with project requirements.
