Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. seeks an Organizational Development Specialist to design, implement, and improve OD initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and leadership capability. The role leads mid-level OD projects and partners with HR and business leaders.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning and Development, you will facilitate workshops, support action planning from surveys, and help manage change across the organization.

The OD Specialist supports the design, implementation, and improvement of organizational development initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, leadership capability, and overall organizational effectiveness. This role leads mid‑level OD projects, facilitates development programs, drives action planning from employee survey results, and partners with HR and business leaders to implement impactful people and culture interventions.
This role will report to Senior Manager, Learning and Development.
Support the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of OD programs such as performance management, talent development, onboarding, succession planning, and culture initiatives.
Manage project timelines, program materials, communication plans, and post‑implementation evaluations.
Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to support adoption and execution of OD programs.
Support leaders and HRBPs in developing effective action plans based on survey insights.
Track progress of action plans, identify barriers, and recommend interventions to improve engagement and organizational health.
Create pulse checks or simple follow‑ups (as needed) to measure progress on action items.
Facilitate workshops, team effectiveness sessions, and foundational leadership programs.
Adapt content based on audience needs and align it with business and organizational goals.
Support delivery of blended learning (virtual, live, and experiential) to enhance leader and employee capability.
Assist in planning and executing change management activities for HR and organizational projects.
Prepare communication materials, leader guides, and stakeholder updates to support change readiness and adoption.
Help leaders manage transitions through coaching, communication support, and follow‑up.
Serve as an OD resource to HRBPs and managers on culture, team development, performance improvement, and organizational challenges.
Recommend appropriate OD tools, interventions, and solutions to address people-related issues.
Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on OD practices.
Identify improvement opportunities in OD and HR processes, tools, and methodologies.
Lead or support OD‑related projects, ensuring alignment with broader HR strategies and timelines.
Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and consistency with OD standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field; master’s degree or certifications in OD, coaching, or change management are an advantage.
With 3–5 years of experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management, Learning & Development, or HR consulting.
Strong expertise in employee engagement, culture-building, change management, and leadership development, with hands‑on experience in facilitating workshops and post‑survey action planning.
Excellent facilitation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
Strong analytical skills to translate survey data into actionable insights; proficient in MS Office, with familiarity in HR systems, survey tools, and learning platforms preferred.
Facilitation or Train‑the‑Trainer certification

Proficiency in HR systems and standard HR reporting tools.
