Job summary

Advanced Energy in the Philippines seeks an Operations Technical Training Supervisor to lead technical training programs across Global Operations, ensuring workforce competency, compliance, and operational excellence. This role oversees training execution aligned with manufacturing goals.

Reporting to the Operations Technical Training Manager, you will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, HR, and EHS to close skill gaps, develop materials, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement in

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical training, manufacturing engineering, operations, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT, PCBA, testing, assembly, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in delivering technical training programs, on-the-job training (OJT), competency development, and certification initiatives.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, IPC, EHS, and related standards).
  • Proficient in problem-solving, statistical analysis, lean manufacturing principles, risk assessment, and training performance evaluation.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset and experience maintaining training records, skills matrices, and compliance documentation.

  • Manage skills matrices, training records, and certification databases to accurately track employee competencies and qualifications.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, customer, and industry standards while supporting audit readiness and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR, and EHS teams to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training solutions.
  • Lead continuous learning and improvement initiatives by monitoring training effectiveness, coaching trainers, and driving workforce capability, productivity, and performance.

Job Summary
