Job summary
eClerx LLC is seeking an experienced Transport Surveillance L3/SME to monitor, analyze and troubleshoot complex optical transport networks. You will coordinate with Transport Engineering, IP Network and Field Operations, manage vendor escalations and drive permanent restoration actions.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on TAC-level troubleshooting across DWDM/OTN/Carrier Ethernet and related platforms, with strong experience in software upgrades, RCA, and incident management in a 24x7
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT or related field.
- 5–8 years of Transport/Optical NOC experience for an L3 Engineer.
- 8+ years for an SME/TAC-level role.
- Experience with carrier-grade telecom or ISP networks and incident handling.
- Ability to work independently in a 24x7 rotational environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze alarms across multiple EMS/NMS and ITSM platforms.
- Lead technical troubleshooting during major outages and war-room discussions.
- Coordinate restoration with multiple engineering and vendor teams.
- Review and validate MOPs, pre/post checks and rollback plans.
- Open and manage technical cases with OEM TAC teams and track resolutions.
