Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience within Telecommunications, Internet Service Provider, or Service Provider environments.
• Strong background in Network Operations, Service Assurance, and Incident Management.
• Proven experience managing customer-facing technical escalations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical resolution of major incidents and critical core network outages.
• Own incidents end-to-end until full service restoration.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across IP/MPLS, transport, and optical networks.
• Provide Level 3 escalation support to NOC, Service Operations, Engineering teams, and customers.
• Lead technical bridge calls during high-priority incidents and provide clear stakeholder updates.
• Ensure adherence to incident management, escalation, and communication processes.
• Conduct post-incident reviews, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action planning.
• Identify recurring network issues and drive long-term problem resolution initiatives.
• Act as a senior technical contact for customer escalations.
• Participate in customer reviews, incident discussions, and service improvement initiatives.
• Communicate technical issues, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build customer confidence through proactive communication, accountability, and service ownership.
• Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers and act as a technical subject matter expert.
