Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Operator (B.M.S) to join our Engineering Maintenance team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The role focuses on operating and maintaining Building Management Systems across critical building infrastructure, ensuring safe, efficient facility operations. You will monitor, inspect, and troubleshoot BMS and related utilities, while coordinating with maintenance teams to uphold high service standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Building Management Systems in commercial/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to interpret system displays/diagnostics and troubleshoot effectively.
• Flexibility to work shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate Building Management Systems to ensure optimal performance of building infrastructure and equipment.

About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Operator (B.M.S) to join our Engineering Maintenance team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As an Operator specialising in Building Management Systems (B.M.S), you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical building infrastructure. This position is integral to our commitment to providing reliable and efficient facility management services to our clients, monitoring and controlling essential building systems that support safe and comfortable environments.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring and operating Building Management Systems (B.M.S) to ensure optimal performance of all connected building infrastructure and equipment
• Conducting routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Responding promptly to system alarms and alerts, diagnosing issues and implementing corrective actions or escalating to relevant technical teams as required
• Maintaining detailed logs and records of system operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or anomalies detected
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules and manufacturer guidelines
• Communicating effectively with building occupants, management, and maintenance teams regarding system status and scheduled maintenance activities
• Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to B.M.S components and connected systems
• Adhering to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements applicable to building operations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating and maintaining Building Management Systems in commercial or industrial environments
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems, and plumbing infrastructure
• Familiarity with automated control systems and the ability to interpret system displays and diagnosticsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Valid certifications or qualifications in building systems operation or maintenance (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team
• Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekend rotations as required
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks and climb ladders or access elevated equipment areas
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in facility management
• Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems and basic IT literacy
