Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on operator to support 6S activities and daily production tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will work as part of a team, follow detailed work instructions, and maintain accurate logs and records to ensure quality and traceability.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to read specifications, listen actively, and adapt to changes. This role requires basic computer skills and a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6S activities before and after each shift.
• Operate DPG-HRDS processes manually or semi-automatically.
• Monitor processes, SPC, and sampling tests as per procedures.
• Record essential data in AX/e-logsheets/SPC/Qualis and other logs.
• Count lots and correctly categorize rejected parts.
• Make decisions based on provided specifications and criteria.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

• 6S activities pre and post shift
• DPG-HRDS Operation, either manual or semi-automatic.
• Can perform process monitors visuals, SPC, sampling test) as per spec procedures task and or responsibility.
• Computer transaction regarding the details of his/her compelled station (AX / e-logsheets/SPC/Qualis, etc)
• Accounting of lot quantities and proper categorization of rejected parts
• Be able to decide based on existing specifications and /or criteria
• Perform other task as called for
