Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an inbound warehouse associate to monitor shipments, record incoming goods, and maintain accurate log sheets.

You will verify discrepancies, report issues, and coordinate with supervisors to resolve them while supporting continuous improvement projects. The role requires strong communication, MS Office proficiency, and a solid understanding of IC manufacturing inbound warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure incoming shipments are recorded on logsheet.
• Maintain high integrity of records/log sheets and keep information readable.
• Verify and generate reports on discrepancies in incoming shipments.
• Communicate with supervisor and counterparts to resolve issues.
• Execute approved eSign and NCRB processes.
• Lead continuous improvement programs and projects.
• Train new hires in inbound receiving processes.

Job Description:

• Monitor hold lots and miscellaneous shipments and act if targets are not met.
• Ensure that incoming shipments are recorded on logsheet.
• Maintain high integrity of records/log sheets. Ensure they are updated and information are complete and readable.
• Verify and generate report on the discrepancy found on the incoming shipments.
• Communicate with supervisor and counterpart for the resolution of the problem.
• Execute the approved eSign, NCRB.
• Leads company’s continuous improvement program and projects.
• Train newly hired employees in the inbound receiving process.
• Ensure that MSC and other routinary tasks are done.
• Support other areas during free time.
• Ensure that urgent lots are prioritized.
• Report to the supervisor on the issues/concerns in the area.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• Computer literate with basic knowledge on MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook).
• Understanding of IC manufacturing business especially on Inbound Warehousing.
• Able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
• Team player.
• Exhibit good leadership.
• Experience in the internal/external an advantage.
• With strong positive work and personal attitude.
