About the role

DHL Supply Chain Phils., Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Calamba City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain facilities. As Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing teams, and maintaining the highest standards of productivity and safety. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering exceptional logistics and supply chain solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery of shipments
2. Manage and motivate warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring and discipline as required
3. Monitor inventory levels, accuracy and organisation to maintain optimal stock control and prevent discrepancies
4. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing hazards promptly
5. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality metrics and cost efficiency
6. Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to resolve operational issues and implement improvements
7. Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure they remain in working condition
8. Conduct inductions, training and coaching for team members to enhance skills and operational knowledge
9. Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and documentation for management review

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or team leader experience in warehouse, logistics or manufacturing operations
2. Proven track record of successfully managing and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
3. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics operations
4. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
5. Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations in the logistics industry
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with inventory management systems
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the organisation
8. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements
9. Flexibility and willingness to work shift patterns as required by operational needs
10. Knowledge of lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
