Job summary

L2 TRUCKING PROVIDERS, INC. in Cavite seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee fleet operations and scheduling. You will plan daily truck deployments, routes, and schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources.

Responsibilities

• Fleet & Route Scheduling: Plan and schedule truck deployments, daily pick-ups, and delivery routes based on customer demands.
• Driver & Staff Supervision: Oversee company and/or rented drivers and dockworkers, assign daily tasks, and manage performance.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to transport laws, road safety standards, vehicle inspection rules, and hours-of-service (HOS) or local regulatory compliance.
• Real-Time Problem Solving: Handle on-road emergencies, breakdowns, traffic/weather delays, and reroute or reallocate resources as needed.
• Cost & Overtime Control: Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance logs, and driver overtime to maintain budget efficiency.
• Reporting & Documentation: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), prepare trip/operation reports, and maintain digital logs using a Transportation Management System (TMS) or ERP software.
• Training & Discipline: Conduct pre-shift briefings, train new drivers/staff, enforce company policies, and handle performance reviews or disciplinary actions.
