What you'll be doing
To lead the team responsible for vessel operations. To oversee the planning and execution of vessel loading and unloading operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and safely
To communicate with vessel agents, pilots, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and ensure compliance with port regulations
To supervise the team responsible for handling material from the vessel. Ensure that it is unloaded efficiently, safely, and in accordance with client requirements
To manage the movement of material within the port area
Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, implement and enforce safety procedures, conduct safety inspections, and ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order. also responsible for managing security at the port
To work closely with other departments, such as logistics, finance, and maintenance, to ensure that all aspects of port operations run smoothly, also responsible for communicating with clients and other stakeholders to keep them informed about operations
To ensure safety, security, environment and security policies are strictly implemented within his control and jurisdiction
What we're looking for
College Graduate (at least 4 years)
Minimum 3-5 years in port, terminal, or maritime logistics operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity
At least 2 years of experience in logistics, transport, and handling of bulk materials, including loading, unloading, and warehousing as required
Proven experience coordinating with shipping lines, trucking providers, PPA, BOC, and other port stakeholders
Background in 24/7 shift operations, including manpower scheduling and overtime control
