Job summary

AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. in Laguna/Biñan is seeking an Operations Officer (Cold Storage) to support daily operations at the assigned cold storage facility.

You will work with the Operations Manager to ensure timely service delivery, quality, and contribution to financial targets. You will supervise forklift operators, QA, and documentation staff, ensure compliance with NMIS, BFAR, BPI, and FDA, and coordinate across departments to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Business Administration or Logistics Operations or related field
• At least 2 years experience in manufacturing, food production or operations
• Preferably from cold storage logistics background
• Experience in distribution center is a plus
• Good communication, coordination, and customer service skills
• Willing to work weekends and holidays or on-call

Responsibilities

• Supervise forklift operator, QA, checker and documentation staff; monitor inventory for inbound/outbound activities and renewals of service contracts
• Ensure compliance with NMIS, BFAR, BPI, FDA, and renewals for the facility
• Oversee end-to-end leasing process with Operations Manager/Supervisor
• Market the facilities to maximize capacity and fill available space
• Liaise with other departments to address customer concerns
• Facilitate weekly operations updates and report to Management on statistics and concerns
• Assist in budgets and forward planning

Job description

Job Title: Operations Officer (Cold Storage)

JOB PURPOSE

• To assist the Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations of assigned Artico Cold Chain cold storage facility.
• To help achieve excellent customer experience by ensuring that the required services are delivered timely (within SLA) and with quality.
• To contribute in achieving the financial targets especially on the revenues set by the management for the assigned cold storage facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the manpower contingents such as forklift operator, QA, checker and documentation assistant. Close monitoring of inventory for both inbound and outbound activities within the prescribed metrics by the clients. Will handle the evaluation, preparation & renewal of service contract.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with the NMIS, BFAR, BPI, FDA, and others of assigned cold storage facility and timely renewal thereof.
• Working hand in hand with the Operations Manager, the Operations Officer shall be responsible for the start to end of the leasing process
• Market the facilities to be able to fill-in any available room/s or pallet position and maximize the capacity of the two facilities
• Liaise with the other departments / team to address issues and/or concerns of the customers
• Facilitate weekly operations update and report to Management the current operating statistics, concerns etc; and
• Work with the Operations Manager/Supervisor in the preparation of budgets and forward plan

QUALIFICATIONS

• A graduate of Business Administration or Logistics Operations, or similar filed
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, food production or operations industry.
• Preferably from a Cold Storage Logistics background
• Experience in Distribution Center is a plus
