Job summary

AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. in Batangas seeks a Facilities Engineer for its cold storage and warehousing facility to manage preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with rules and regulations.

Duties include regular inspections, maintenance planning, audits, facility improvements, and coordination of projects, with status updates to the Operations Manager. Candidates must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer with at least 2 years in property management;

Qualifications

• Must have a licensed Mechanical Engineer certification.
• At least 2 years of work experience in property management.
• Familiarity with warehouse or cold logistics operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all machines and equipment.
• Plan maintenance schedules and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
• Maintain safe working environment and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee security, housekeeping and maintenance services.
• Lead building improvement projects and ensure building codes compliance.
• Perform internal and external facility and operations audits.
• Prepare and review project plans, estimates and scopes of work.
• Monitor construction or renovation works and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Provide status updates to Operations Manager and Facilities Area Manager.

Job description

JOB TITLE: FACILITIES ENGINEER (Cold Storage/ Warehousing)

Responsible for managing the efficient operation of assigned ALogis Artico cold storage facility, including planning and organizing preventive maintenance program, material handling equipment, safety and security, and compliance with rules and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all machines and equipment are in excellent working condition by conducting regular inspection, implement preventive maintenance and undertake corrective or emergency maintenance works to achieve customer satisfaction and operating cost efficiencies
• To be assigned as the facility’s Pollution Control Officer and ensure compliance with DENR and other government-related compliances;
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying to government and legal regulations
• Handle security, housekeeping and maintenance services
• Enhance the property and ensuring compliance with building codes through projects and building development;
• Handle internal and external facilities and operations audits
• Prepare and reviews plans, estimates, scope of work for various projects; and
• Monitor construction or renovation works and ensures that all guidelines are strictly implemented
• Provides regular status updates to the Operations Manager and to the Facilities Area Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• With atleast 2 years work experience in property management
• Familiarity in warehouse logistics or cold logistics operations is a plus
• A resident of Sto. Tomas, Batangas or nearby areas
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays, and on-call (as needed)
