Job summary

Bo's Coffee in Cebu City is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee performance, efficiency, and service quality across VisMin stores. You will lead store teams, enforce SOPs, and drive profitability while coordinating with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Marketing teams.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to manage budgets, training, and compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements. Travel to stores will be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in multi-unit operations, preferably in F&B or café.
  • Strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with POS and inventory systems.
  • Willing to travel regularly to store locations.

  • Monitor P&L, labor, waste, and controllable costs; implement profitability improvements.

JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall performance, efficiency, and service quality of Bo's Coffee stores (VisMin). The role ensures strict compliance with operational standards, regulatory requirements, and brand guidelines. It provides leadership to store teams, drives store profitability, and coordinates closely with cross-functional departments to support store operations and business objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Store Operations Management
  • Ensure that all assigned stores consistently meet operational, quality, and cleanliness standards.

  • Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all store locations.

  • Monitor daily sales reports, operational KPIs, and overall store performance.

  • Conduct routine store visits, operational audits, and follow-through on corrective action plans.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.

2. Leadership and Staff Management
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management to Store Managers and Supervisors.

  • Oversee manpower planning, shift scheduling, and staffing requirements to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement developmental plans for store leaders.

  • Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork within store operations.

3. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, stock rotation, and adherence to FIFO processes.

  • Monitor inventory variances and enforce inventory control measures.

  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Commissary departments for timely delivery of supplies and raw materials.

4. Customer Service and Brand Execution
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional customer experience across all stores.

  • Support the rollout of marketing campaigns, new products, and seasonal promotions.

  • Handle escalated customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.

5. Financial Management
  • Review and analyze store P&L statements, identifying areas for financial improvement.

  • Monitor labor productivity, waste levels, and controllable store expenses.

  • Recommend operational enhancements that improve profitability and efficiency.

6. Training and Compliance
  • Support training programs for new and existing store personnel.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and DOLE regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the proper maintenance and functionality of store equipment in coordination with the Facilities and Maintenance team.
