The GSM Operations Manager oversees daily electric fleet transport and taxi operations, ensuring maximum vehicle availability, dispatch efficiency, driver performance, and adherence to safety regulations. This role leads operations supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers to deliver safe, high-quality, and sustainable transportation while optimizing operational workflows and fleet utilization.
Supervise daily dispatch operations, driver shift scheduling, and route distribution to maximize fleet utilization.
Oversee EV infrastructure readiness, including charging routines, battery-swapping operations, and garage/depot maintenance.
Coordinate regular vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all fleet units remain roadworthy.
Manage, coach, and evaluate the performance of Operations Supervisors, Captain Drivers, and ground staff.
Lead driver onboarding, regular safety briefings, and customer service training programs.
Handle disciplinary matters, resolve operational conflicts, and promote driver safety and satisfaction.
Track and report operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as response times, trip fulfillment rates, and power/charging efficiency.
Analyze operational data to reduce idle times, minimize operating costs, and improve overall fleet productivity.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational summaries for executive leadership.
Ensure strict compliance with local traffic laws, transportation standards, and corporate safety policies.
Serve as an operational point of contact for local transport authorities, government units (LGUs), and community stakeholders.
Manage passenger feedback, resolve escalated customer service issues, and maintain high service quality standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5+ years of operational leadership or supervisory experience in fleet management, ride-hailing, taxi services, or logistics. Experience in EV/clean-mobility operations is a strong advantage.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with fleet management systems, automated dispatch software, and GPS tracking tools.
Leadership & Communication: Proven team management and conflict resolution skills with clear oral and written communication.
Problem-Solving: Ability to work under pressure, make rapid real-time decisions, and manage multi-location field operations.
