Job summary

Magsaysay Shipping & Logistics is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee daily logistics tasks across departments, ensuring smooth dispatch, receiving, and order processing. You will monitor performance, drive improvements, and ensure policy and regulatory compliance across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in logistics or related field and at least 2 years in logistics/operations. Collaborative cross-team work and documentation accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years in operations, logistics, or procurement roles

Responsibilities

• Oversees the execution of daily logistics activities including dispatching, receiving, and order processing
• Ensures timely and accurate movement of goods in accordance with delivery schedules
• Identifies and addresses minor operational issues to prevent delays or disruptions
• Verifies compliance with standard procedures during loading and unloading operations
• Escalates complex operational concerns to the Operations Supervisor for resolution
• Facilitates communication between warehouse, transport, customer service, and vendor teams to ensure operational alignment
• Reviews and validates logistics documents such as delivery receipts, shipment records, and inventory logs
• Assists in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review
• Coordinates with clients and vendors regarding delivery schedules, order status, and service-related concerns
• Conducts routine checks to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and service protocols
