Logistics
1. Logistics Operations Support
- Assist the Logistics Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily logistics operations
- Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective transportation of goods
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with internal departments, vendors, customers, and logistics providers
- Monitor delivery schedules, resolve delays, and recommend operational solutions
2. Leadership & Coordination
- Coordinate daily tasks of logistics staff and support teams
- Provide guidance, training support, and operational direction to logistics personnel
- Escalate risks, shortages, operational issues, and non-compliance concerns promptly
3. Administrative, Payment & Financial Support
- Handle logistics-related administrative work, including preparation, monitoring, and filing of documents
- Prepare and process Requests for Payment (RFP) for freight charges, hauling, customs fees, warehouse rentals, and other logistics services
- Manage petty cash for logistics-related expenses, including proper issuance, documentation, liquidation, and replenishment
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments
- Track logistics expenses and report variances or discrepancies to the Logistics Manager
- Support internal and external audits by providing complete financial and logistics documentation
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper filing of logistics documents such as:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety standards, and local/international regulations
- Maintain organized and auditable records for all logistics transactions
- Monitor and audit staged goods that are pending dispatch, undelivered, or on delivery hold to prevent loss, damage, or misrouting
- Ensure proper tagging, segregation, and status updates for all staged deliveries
6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers
- Monitor vendor performance and assist in resolving service and billing issues
- Support rate reviews, service evaluations, and vendor negotiations when required
7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare logistics operation reports, expense summaries, and performance updates
- Monitor KPIs related to delivery performance, cost efficiency, and service levels
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations
- Experience in logistics administration, billing, and documentation is required
- Supervisory or senior coordination experience is an advantage
