Job summary

Locad Philippines is seeking a student intern to support packaging guideline updates at the Cabuyao site, collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting standards.

You will conduct time-in-motion studies, collect data, and help optimize processes; 5S program support and audits will be part of the role. This hands-on opportunity offers real-world logistics exposure and skills development.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of 5S principles and time-in-motion studies is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Update Packaging Guidelines by reviewing, revising, and documenting packaging standards specific to the Cabuyao site.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure guidelines align with company policies and customer requirements.
• Provide clear and concise documentation for easy reference and implementation by the operations team.
• Conduct Time-in-Motion Studies by observing and analyzing workflows to measure productivity and efficiency.
• Collect and interpret data to establish productivity benchmarks for various tasks.
• Provide recommendations to optimize processes based on study findings.
• Support 5S Implementation by assisting in the organization and maintenance of the 5S program (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with 5S standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Promote awareness and engagement among team members to sustain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.
