Job summary

Care Center Clinic is seeking an Operations Governance Officer to monitor that approved processes are implemented and effective. You will conduct walkthroughs, identify deviations, and trigger actions to close gaps across departments.

You will document issues, coordinate with QA, Compliance, and Audit, and escalate recurring problems while proposing process improvements based on real-world experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 2–4 years of experience in operations, process governance, or related areas.
• Experience reviewing operational processes, workflows, controls, records, or procedures.
• Knowledge of process-mapping, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action monitoring.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; reporting tools are a plus.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Objectivity, professional skepticism, assertiveness, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• Comfort with asking difficult questions, challenging practices, and escalating issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process walkthroughs and implementation checks against policies and SOPs.
• Identify deviations, skipped steps, handoffs issues, and control gaps.
• Question practices that conflict with established processes.
• Request explanations, records, approvals, and evidence during reviews.
• Determine causes of issues and document owners, actions, timelines, and status.
• Recommend clarifications, simplifications, redesigns, or additional controls.
• Monitor corrective actions and follow up on resolution.
• Escalate material, recurring, or systemic issues to management.
• Provide management with visibility on adoption, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with process owners, QA, Compliance, Audit, Reporting, and others.
