Job summary

Realcognita Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Modeller to join our team in the Philippines.

The role focuses on precast concrete elements, detailing, and 3D modeling using Tekla Structures to translate structural designs into precise shop drawings and GA plans. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in structural modelling or detailing, with strong Tekla and Concrete Structures skills and familiarity with precast components and embedded items.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in structural modelling or detailing.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Recent experience in precast concrete and commercial/industrial buildings.
• Strong proficiency in Tekla and Concrete Structures for modeling and detailing.
• Good working knowledge of Tekla Structures.
• Understanding of precast elements, connections, and embedded items.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, detailing, and drafting with focus on precast concrete elements.
• Reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
• Understand structural behavior and element interactions within a structural building.
• Knowledge of structural loads and reinforcement to suggest structural solutions.
• Review and analyze architectural and structural plans to integrate into Tekla models.
• Precast modeling in Tekla following company standards and ensuring design intent compatibility.
• Create and manage 3D models of precast concrete elements (or basic steel).
• Model reinforcement based on provided reinforcement tasks.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings and GA drawings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve modelling issues.
• Apply company standards for modelling, naming, and documentation.
• Ensure constructability considering lifting, transport, and installation requirements.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Structural modelling or Concrete Detailing or Reinforcement similar role.

• Reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
• Understanding structural behavior, including how elements connect and interact within a structural building.
• Knowledge of structural loads, compression, tension forces, and overall building performance and the capability to suggest structural solutions.
• Review and analyze architectural and structural plans to understand project requirements and integrate them into Tekla models.
• Precast modeling structures with precision in the Tekla environment, following established company standards and ensuring compatibility with design intent.
• Create and manage 3D models of precast concrete (or basic steel) elements
• Model reinforcement based on provided reinforcement tasks
• Prepare detailed and accurate shop drawings and GA drawings
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve modelling issues
• Apply company standards for modelling, naming, and documentation
• Ensure constructability by considering lifting, transport, and installation requirements
