Job summary

GHD in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for a confidential port infrastructure upgrade. You will lead the owner’s-engineer site team, coordinate civil, marine, pavement and utilities inputs, and manage on-site delivery in a live port environment.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, registration as a Civil Engineer in the Philippines, and at least 15 years of relevant experience, with strong leadership, reporting, and contract administration skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience on heavy civil projects.
• Experience with marine/port infrastructure preferred.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and report to client.

Responsibilities

• Lead the owner’s-engineer site team across civil, marine, pavement and utilities.
• Administer the construction contract including RFIs, variations and payments.
• Monitor compliance with drawings, specs, safety and quality.
• Coordinate staging and interfaces to keep port operations running safely.
• Chair progress meetings and report progress to client and stakeholders.
• Oversee inspections, testing, handover and close-out.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
