Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to drive the planning, design, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and manage multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across local and global settings.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client engagement, and continuous improvement within a hybrid work model, with offices in Makati, Quezon City, or Cebu. Ten-plus years in civil infrastructure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in civil infrastructure projects with design delivery, project leadership, and technical oversight.
• Strong design background across Transport, Land Development, Water, Energy, Dams and Tailings.
• Experience leading design reviews and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects, aligning with client requirements and standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and designers across the team.
• Manage project delivery to meet quality, safety, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders for integrated solutions.
• Lead design coordination, client liaison, and stakeholder engagement for projects.
• Drive innovation in engineering design processes, digital delivery, and execution methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Support business development through proposals, tenders, and client relationships.
