tax professionals to ensure timely, accurate work and to develop advanced tax skills. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in accounting or finance and 2–3 years of tax preparation experience, with proficiency in CCH ProSystem fx, Axcess Tax, Axcess Document, Axcess Workstream, and other listed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years tax preparation experience.
• Familiar with tax software: CCH ProSystem fx, Axcess Tax, Axcess Document, Axcess Workstream, Thomson Reuters Fixed Assets CS, Checkpoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other entities.
• Organize and review client financial information, identifying missing documents, inconsistencies, and questions for the U.S. engagement team.
• Prepare clear, complete workpapers that support tax return calculations and allow for an efficient review.
• Use tax preparation, document management, and workflow software to complete assignments and maintain organized engagement files.
• Keep engagement teams informed of assignment status, outstanding items, and potential delays.
• Address review comments and incorporate feedback into future assignments.
• Assist senior team members with more complex tax matters, including research and specialized projects.
• Participate in training, share knowledge with colleagues, and continue building technical and supervisory skills.
• Follow firm procedures for protecting confidential client information and meeting quality standards.
