Job summary

Relay Human Cloud is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in a role focusing on accurate bookkeeping, financial analysis, and timely reporting for US-based clients. The candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with GAAP and high-quality financial data.

The position requires at least 6 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with QuickBooks, Yardi, or SAP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Yardi, SAP, or similar).
Willingness to work onsite and on a fixed night shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central time).

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US accounting standards.
Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and expense reports.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data and reporting accuracy.
Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks and provide support during audits.
