Job summary

Nexus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support financial reporting in a shared services or corporate finance environment.

The role emphasizes journal entries, reconciliations, monthly close, and audit support, with required knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel. Onsite work with night shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
• 24 years of relevant accounting experience in shared services, corporate finance, or BPO settings.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite and during night shift hours, as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general ledger functions as part of monthly and year-end closing.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with policies and US GAAP.
• Support fixed asset accounting, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies across accounts.
• Ensure timely submission of reconciliations and documentation for audits or reviews.
• Work closely with accounts payable, receivable, and tax teams to support end-to-end financial operations.
• Help develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
