Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in patient scheduling, patient access, or healthcare operations.
• Experience in supervising scheduling teams is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily patient appointment scheduling operations and queues.
• Monitor call volume, service levels, and productivity.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to scheduling staff.
• Ensure scheduling aligns with provider availability and protocols.
• Handle escalated patient and provider concerns.
• Coordinate urgent and same-day appointment requests.
• Collaborate with referrals, insurance, and authorization teams.
• Conduct quality audits and drive process improvements.
• Manage staffing, workload, and schedule coverage.
• Prepare reports and updates for management.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, policies, and regulations.
