Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of healthcare scheduling or related support experience.
• Experience in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare BPO is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Athenahealth) preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling workflows.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments across specialties.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls for scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups.
• Assist patients with general scheduling inquiries.
• Review patient information for accurate appointment assignments.
• Coordinate with providers and clinics to facilitate appointments.
• Maintain patient demographics, insurance details, and records.
• Verify insurance information and referral requirements.
• Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Support service quality and patient satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
