Tertiary IT qualification or better.
Understanding of Systems and Network Infrastructures.
Understanding of computer hardware and software components.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Adaptable "Can-do" attitude.

Responsibilities

IT point of contact when IT Support Team Leader or Senior IT Support is not available.
Provide technical recommendations and solutions for Network, Software and Hardware issues.
Provide IT support to customers, clients and other departments.
Ensure that applications, services and networks are up and running.
Continuous audits on assets, hardware and software.
Status monitoring of hardware, system and network components.
May be assigned to systems administration projects.
Anticipate trends in computing affecting IT Operations - OS, Monitoring, Databases, App Servers, Security, Firewalls and Networking.
Assist clients, operations, and other business units on hardware/network issues.
Provide user maintenance and assistance to ensure production IT systems operate efficiently.
