Smartsourcing in Cebu City, Philippines is seeking a full-time, onsite Technical Support Engineer to help users when technology hiccups. You will support hardware, software, operating systems, connectivity, and access; deploy devices and manage accounts while keeping endpoints healthy within IT service management.

You'll work across teams, document fixes, and escalate complex issues. A Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field plus ITIL/CompTIA fundamentals are valued; onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in desktop support or IT support environments.
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, software installation, OS, endpoint administration, and network connectivity.
• Working knowledge of IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line end-user support for hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues.
• Configure, install, and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and workplace tech assets; maintain device standards.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, access permissions, and authentication requirements (Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365).
• Monitor endpoint health, apply updates and preventive maintenance, and escalate when needed.
• Maintain tickets and knowledge base, support reporting and service metrics.
