Job summary

Cebu YMtechnology Inc. in Pasig is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to help maintain the company’s computer systems and network. The role focuses on restoring service quickly, assisting users, and keeping IT assets organized.

You will install and configure desktops, printers, and software, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues. A degree in IT or related field and solid problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in BS Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related course.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common hardware and software problems.
• Knowledge of computer installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with IT security practices, data backup, and user account management is an advantage.
• Experience with printers, scanners, CCTV, routers, switches, and other IT peripherals is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
