Job summary

Sysgen RPO Inc. is seeking an Equipment Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production machinery and facility equipment.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and calibrate new equipment, and keep detailed maintenance records for reliable operations. The role emphasizes safety, 5S practices, and collaboration with production lines to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; technical/vocational graduates encouraged.
• 2–3 years of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting on industrial machinery.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and calibration.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control systems troubleshooting.
• Experience in installation, setup, calibration, and commissioning is preferred.
• Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory; knowledge of safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and facility assets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Install, set up, calibrate, and commission new machines and equipment.
• Modify or repair machine parts to improve performance.
• Maintain equipment logs, inventories, and repair documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA standards and 5S practices.
• Support continuous improvement to improve reliability, productivity, and efficiency.
