Job summary

Sysgen RPO Inc. is seeking an Equipment Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production machinery and facility equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; technical/vocational graduates encouraged.
• 2–3 years of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting on industrial machinery.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and calibration.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control systems troubleshooting.
• Experience in installation, setup, calibration, and commissioning is preferred.
• Maintain maintenance records and spare parts inventory; knowledge of safety standards.

Position Summary

We are looking for an Equipment Technician to support the maintenance,

troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production machinery and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, machine

installation, equipment calibration, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and providing technical support to production lines. The Equipment Technician will also maintain maintenance records, monitor spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, equipment, and facility assets.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Install, set up, calibrate, and commission new machines and equipment.
• Modify, fabricate, or repair machine parts, fixtures, and components to improve equipment performance.
• Conduct routine inspections and monitor machine performance to ensure reliable operations.
• Provide technical support to production lines by responding to equipment breakdowns and performing line checks.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, spare parts, consumables, and equipment supplies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports, equipment logs, and repair documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and 5S workplace practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related technical field; Technical or Vocational graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, machine troubleshooting, or industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems troubleshooting.
• Experience in machine installation, setup, calibration, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with fabrication, welding, machining, or equipment modification is an advantage.
• Experience maintaining maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards, preventive maintenance programs, and 5S practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Work Setup

• Full Onsite / Dayshift
• Monday to Saturday (Shifting Schedule)
