Job summary

VTECH AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS CORP. is seeking a maintenance technician to install, configure, test equipment and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and accurate record-keeping to support smooth production. You will work with production staff to minimize downtime, optimize throughput, and ensure quality and safety across facilities.

Qualifications

• Attend work schedule established by the employer.
• Ensure compliance with safety, industry standards, regulations and company policies.
• Install, configure and test equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, maintenance activities, repairs, parts used and inventory.
• Work with production staff to minimize downtime and optimize production.
• Provide assistance to customers, stakeholders and colleagues.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Manage spare parts, supplies and equipment. Perform 6S assignment and activities.
• Prepare and submit accurate DPR detailing maintenance activities performed.
• Performs other duties as requires.
