Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety Engineer to assist the EHS Manager in implementing and monitoring programs to protect employees, property, and the environment at the Rosario, Cavite site.

The role requires leading EHS initiatives, conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, training delivery, and ensuring ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance across the site while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine EHS laws (OSH, DOLE, DENR, PEZA).
• Familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Experience with risk assessments, EHS audits, CAPA.
• Ability to develop and deliver EHS training and awareness programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS program implementation to ensure safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications, and change management reviews.
• Investigate EHS incidents and drive CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, orientations, and awareness programs.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance and EHS documentation.
• Serve as Pollution Control and Safety Officer, ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate permits, audits, and inspections with DOLE, DENR, PEZA, FDA.
• Oversee HIRA activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure emergency preparedness with safety plans and ERT programs.
• Collaborate with HR and external stakeholders on EHS initiatives and CSR.
