Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety Engineer to support the EH&S Manager in implementing and monitoring programs that protect employees, property, and the environment. The role ensures compliance with regulatory, corporate, and customer requirements while maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

The position reports to the EH&S Manager and is based at the Rosario site. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in EHS, solid regulatory knowledge in PH laws, ISO standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine EHS laws and regulations (OSH, DOLE, DENR, PEZA).
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Experience in risk assessments, hazard identification, and EHS audits.
• Experience in incident investigation and CAPA implementation.
• Ability to develop and deliver EHS training and safety programs.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Demonstrates commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of EHS programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications, and change management reviews.
• Investigate EHS incidents and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop and deliver EHS training, orientations, and awareness programs.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including documentation.
• Serve as Pollution Control and Safety Officer, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate regulatory activities, permits, audits, and inspections (DOLE, DENR, PEZA, FDA).
• Oversee HIRA activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure emergency preparedness with site safety plans and ERTs.
• Collaborate with HR and stakeholders to support EHS initiatives and CSR.
