Job summary

MVP Asia Pacific Inc. in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines, is seeking an Assistant Accountant (Onsite) to support monthly manufacturer reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.

You will process journals, prepare management reports, and leverage PMDS (Auto-IT) and Excel to extract and format data for the finance team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, has experience in GL and month-end closing, and can meet reporting deadlines with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Experience with general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience in month-end reporting and journal preparation.
• Experience using automotive dealership systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing financial data to the majority of the company's manufacturers on a monthly basis.
• Upload trial balance data to designated manufacturer reporting portals, ensuring figures are accurately mapped from the general ledger to the manufacturers' financial reports.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including factory receivables, finance and insurance receivables, sublets, etc.
• Process standard journals and prepare monthly management reports.
• Utilise PMDS (Auto-IT) to support the preparation of management reports and reformat information in Microsoft Excel.
