Job summary

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and sales-driven Business Development Officer who will focus on acquiring new customers through Facebook, online marketplaces, social media groups, and direct customer engagement. Your main responsibility is to generate leads, respond to inquiries, follow up with prospects, and convert them into buying customers.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new customers through Facebook Marketplace, Facebook Groups, and other online channels
• Regularly post company products using different assigned Facebook accounts and pages
• Identify and join relevant Facebook groups where potential customers can be reached
• Find potential buyers, resellers, dealers, businesses, and other qualified prospects
• Answer inquiries from Facebook Page Messenger, Facebook Marketplace, assigned Facebook accounts, and other company-managed online inboxes
• Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to customer questions
• Guide interested customers from Inquiry → Qualification → Offer → Follow-up → Order
• Follow up with prospective customers through Messenger, chat, and phone calls
• Call qualified prospects when necessary to explain products, pricing, packages, and ordering procedures
• Maintain an organized list of leads and their current status and work toward monthly customer-acquisition and sales-conversion targets

About you

• Experience in sales, business development, online selling, customer service, lead generation, or social media selling is an advantage
• Comfortable using Facebook Marketplace, Facebook Groups, Messenger, and Facebook Pages
• Confident communicating with customers through both chat and phone calls
• Strong written communication skills
• Persuasive and comfortable asking customers to place an order
• Organized and able to manage multiple conversations and follow-ups
• Goal-oriented and motivated by sales targets
• Able to work independently and proactively find new customers
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for lead tracking and reporting
