Job summary

Union Prime Energy Corporation is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Development Engineer to drive the development of solar PV and battery storage projects in the Philippines. You will conduct market research, screen potential sites, and perform feasibility analyses to support permitting and grid connection.

The role requires 2–5 years in energy project development, familiarity with Philippine markets, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Business or related field.
2-5 years of experience in new energy / power project development; familiarity with Philippine power market preferred.
Knowledge of Philippine permitting and grid-connection procedures.
Excellent English communication; Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop new energy projects (solar PV / BESS): market research, screening, feasibility analysis.
Liaise with clients, government agencies (DOE, ERC, NGCP, LGU) and partners; manage permitting and grid-connection requirements.
Conduct project development work: site screening, net-metering / permit process, tariff and PPA analysis.
Track Philippine energy policies, incentives and market trends.
Coordinate internal technical, commercial and legal teams; prepare documentation and reports.
