Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for on-site work in Papua New Guinea. The role supports end-to-end procurement for goods, equipment, and services, coordinating with operations, logistics, finance, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery within budgets.

You will manage requisitions, issue POs in the ERP, monitor supplier performance, and assist with inventory planning and compliance. A Diploma or Bachelor's in procurement or related field and 3–5 years' experience are required,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement or related field.
• 3–5 years procurement experience in mining/industrial environments.
• Experience with ERP procurement systems and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end procurement lifecycle from requisition to close-out.
• Review requisitions for completeness and policy compliance.
• Source quotations and conduct market comparisons for value.
• Raise and manage purchase orders via ERP system.
• Track supplier progress and expedite critical activities.
• Coordinate logistics including shipment, customs, and delivery tracking.
