Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an IT Support Associate to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and peripherals. You will monitor security standards, test equipment, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely resolutions and smooth operations.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with responsibility for equipment preparation, VPN configuration, and logistics for home use.

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting and providing IT support
• Basic understanding of network systems, operating systems, and IT hardware

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and resolve issues using knowledge-based tools, IT Service Desk, or Shift Supervisor.
• Monitor user and system adherence to security standards.
• Evaluate and test equipment, network/software, and system tools; submit recommendations.
• Operate and monitor operating systems, platforms, networks, servers, and software; escalate when needed.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and usability of desktops, laptops, and software.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare equipment for operations and set up for work-from-home users.
• Configure VPNs for remote work and arrange logistics for home technology delivery.
