Job summary

Colliers International Philippines, Inc. seeks an on-site Accounting Specialist for Sitari Condominium in Negros Occidental. You will maintain records of financial transactions, prepare checks and vouchers, and handle bank reconciliations.

The ideal candidate holds a BS Accountancy or BS in Management Accounting, with 2+ years in finance and solid general accounting knowledge. You must be detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and ready to start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or BS in Management Accounting.
• 1–4 years experience in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• ASAP (Urgent Hiring) start desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintains records of all financial transactions.
• Prepares and reviews checks and check vouchers.
• Releases check to suppliers and/or contractors.
• Prepares cash position reports, financial statements, and bank reconciliation.
• Reviews documents needed for processing of payment to suppliers and contractors.
• Coordinates with the auditor (internal and external) in the periodic audit of the condominium's books.
• Monitors and updates all books of accounts on a monthly basis.
• Ensures the payments/remittance of mandates government dues such as EWT, RET VAT, etc.
