But First, Coffee Inc. is seeking an Assistant Baker to support the baking team in preparing breads, pastries, and desserts while maintaining quality and food safety. The role is on-site in Mandaluyong and requires a fixed six-day workweek with strong teamwork and reliability.

The ideal candidate will be able to follow recipes, handle ingredients safely, and assist with inventory and waste minimization. Prior bakery experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Willing and able to work onsite on a fixed six-day workweek.
• Preferably Male; Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting, carrying, and moving baking ingredients, supplies, trays, and equipment as required.
• Previous bakery, pastry, kitchen, or food production experience is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, food safety procedures, and company policies while working effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and baking breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked products.
• Measure, weigh, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
• Assist with assembling, portioning, and finishing baked products.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality; report issues promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with receiving, labeling, storing, and properly handling ingredients and supplies.
• Assist with inventory monitoring, stock counts, proper storage, and reporting of low or damaged supplies.
• Help minimize waste through proper handling, portioning, and storage of ingredients.
• Follow food handling, hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Support the team during peak production periods and perform other related duties as assigned.
