Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Business Support Manager in Manila to lead Manila-based staff across Finance, IT, Admin, and Sales, while serving as the liaison between Philippine and Australian operations.

You will enforce workplace safety, coordinate with vendors and HR, drive onboarding, and push continuous performance improvements in a fast-paced BPO environment. This role is onsite in Quezon City with day shifts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational leadership in a BPO, Shared Services, or offshore team setup.
• Proven experience managing communications and performance expectations with Australian teams.
• Oversee cross-functional staff supporting Finance, IT, Customer Service, and Administration.
• Direct experience partnering with BPO providers (e.g., MicroSourcing) on HR, facilities, and logistics.
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and operational risk standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for Manila-based staff across Finance, IT, Admin, and Sales; manage workloads and timelines.
• Serve as the main contact between Manila teams and Australian managers with regular check-ins and performance reviews.
• Enforce site safety policies, participate in risk assessments, and report hazards or incidents.
• Coordinate with MicroSourcing on facilities, seat allocation, HR processes, and compliance reporting.
• Lead onboarding for new hires, streamline workflows, and drive continuous performance improvements across teams.
• Build a positive, accountable team environment and handle day-to-day escalations.

Your Role

As a Business Support Manager, you will:

• Offshore Team Leadership: Lead daily operations for Manila-based staff across Finance, IT, Admin, and Sales; manage workloads and deliverable timelines.
• Onshore-Offshore Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between Manila teams and Australian managers, holding regular check-ins and performance reviews.
• Workplace Safety & Compliance: Enforce site safety policies, participate in risk assessments, and report hazards or incidents immediately.
• BPO Vendor Management: Coordinate with MicroSourcing on facilities, seat allocation, local HR processes, and compliance reporting.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 5+ years of operational leadership experience in a BPO, Shared Services, or offshore team setup.
• Proven experience managing communications and performance expectations with Australian teams.

• Prior experience supporting Australian industrial, logistics, or commercial operations.
• Understanding of Australian workplace culture, business communication, and SLA tracking.
• Experience applying process improvement methods to reduce workflow bottlenecks.
