Job summary

Boomering, an ISO-certified BPO in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, seeks an organized Office-Based Project Engineer to support mining and construction projects from the office. You will develop work packages, QA/QC documentation, and coordinate with PMs, site engineers, and suppliers.

The role focuses on preparing construction/work packages, QA/QC records, reviewing drawings, and ensuring compliance with Australian standards and project specs. Salary ranges apply to Philippines operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of project engineering experience in mining, resources, or construction.
• Experience preparing construction work packages, methodologies, ITPs/ITRs, and QA/QC documentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Experience with BOQs, MTOs, and drawing-based quantities.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards and construction quality requirements.
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and scheduling software (MS Project).
• Strong communication, coordination, and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction work packages for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and equipment installation.
• Review IFC drawings, specs, scopes, and project requirements for accuracy.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation, ITPs/ITRs, MIRs, FIRs, NCRs, and quality registers.
• Prepare RFIs and TQs; coordinate clarifications across disciplines.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and as-built records.
• Support project management with planning, procurement, and coordination tasks.
