Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in vessel operations, port or terminal operations, shipping agencies, ocean logistics, or related functions.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing day‑to‑day operational activities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, cargo operations, vessel husbandry, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with port authorities, government agencies, terminals, and external service providers.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and collaborate across functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Port & Vessel Operations: Lead and oversee port operations, vessel calls, and husbandry activities across Luzon. Ensure timely vessel berthing coordination, operational readiness, and efficient vessel turnaround. Direct the team in managing operational risks, resource planning, and issue resolution to maintain service reliability and operational excellence.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and continuously improve operational processes, standards, and controls to ensure compliance with company, port, terminal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong working relationships with terminals, port authorities, government agencies, and operational service providers.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing operations team. Drive employee engagement, capability development, succession planning, and talent growth. Promote accountability, professionalism, integrity, and ownership in day‑to‑day operations.
  • Cargo Operations & Execution: Oversee cargo execution, including DG, OOG, and Reefer cargo, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements. Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, container visibility, and service performance across ports and service providers. Monitor cargo‑related risks and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Cost Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Drive cost‑conscious operations while maintaining service quality and compliance. Review operational costs, vendor performance, and service agreements to identify efficiency opportunities. Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration and provide timely operational updates, recommendations, and escalation support. Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external service providers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience in vessel operations, port or terminal operations, shipping agencies, ocean logistics, or related functions.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing day‑to‑day operational activities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, cargo operations, vessel husbandry, and operational compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with port authorities, government agencies, terminals, and external service providers.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple operational issues simultaneously.
  • Results‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct in all interactions and decision‑making.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and available for operational escalations when required.
Working Hours & On‑Call

This role operates during regular business hours and may require 24/7 on‑call support for critical operational matters.
