Job summary

Maersk Global Service Centres Philippines Limited seeks an Ocean Operations Manager, Luzon to lead port and vessel operations across Luzon. You will drive safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations while building a high-performing team and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities include berthing coordination, risk management, and continuous process improvements to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in vessel operations, port or terminal operations, shipping agencies, ocean logistics, or related functions.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing day-to-day operational activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of shipping, cargo operations, vessel husbandry, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with port authorities, government agencies, terminals, and external service providers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee port operations, vessel calls, and husbandry activities across Luzon.
• Ensure timely vessel berthing coordination, operational readiness, and efficient vessel turnaround.
• Build and maintain relationships with terminals, port authorities, and service providers.
• Drive continuous improvement, manage operational risks, and ensure compliance with regulations.
