Job summary

Flexport Manila is seeking an Ocean Operations Associate to join our growing Philippine team. You will learn global logistics end-to-end, supporting bookings, documentation, and client management while shaping our operations, culture, and client experience.

As one of the first regional hires, you will work with country leadership, operations and sales to design scalable processes, leverage AI tools, and drive continuous improvement across shipments and data quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, supply chain or logistics operations.
• 3+ years in professional logistics, with ocean operations focus toward US/Canada and EMEA.
• Strong data-driven analytical skills.
• Strategic understanding of AI landscape and tooling adoption.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end shipments across all modes and manage bookings and milestones.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, trucking providers, CFS/warehouse operators and customs teams to keep shipments on time.
• Troubleshoot shipment exceptions with clear context and recommended path forward.
• Maintain data accuracy across Flexport systems to meet KPIs and client SLAs.
• Support account managers and customs teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.
