Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a back-end service professional for Ocean freight operations. The role covers multiple regions and ensures accurate, timely task completion within SOPs.

You will join a team focused on continuous improvement and sharing best practices, with emphasis on meeting SLAs, effective communication, and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (any). A degree in logistics or management is a plus.
• 0–3 years of job experience in BPO or logistics domain – Preferred.
• Air Freight experience will be preferred.
• Good knowledge in MS Office
• Effective English communication, written and verbal
• Exposure to ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Understand the station's/country's documentation requirements and ensure jobs are executed per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure department SLAs and KPIs are met as per the guidelines.
• Operate on the services according to shifts, countries, or regions.
• Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify solutions, best practices, and improvements for the service.
• Flag challenges in operations to the supervisor and business partner promptly.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the service.
