About the role
A physician role providing clinical services, occupational health oversight, and medical compliance support. The position involves conducting medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment of employees through in-person and virtual consultations, managing work-related health issues, and ensuring organizational compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of employees for both in-person and virtual consultations
- Provide Fit-to-Work, Return-to-Work, and Non-Infectious certifications following DOLE/DOH guidelines
- Render classification of Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) results of applicants to determine fitness for hiring
- Oversee management of work-related illnesses, including interpretation of laboratory and other test results, and refer employees to specialists when needed
- Supervise the delivery of nursing services and ensure compliance with health protocols
- Ensure organizational compliance with RA 11058, DO 252.25, and DOH Occupational Health Standards
- Conduct health risk assessments, workplace hazard evaluations, and advise on preventive strategies
- Supervise health surveillance programs, including TB management, communicable disease protocols, and chronic disease monitoring
- Maintain secure and confidential medical records aligned with DOH and DOLE requirements
- Coordinate with government agencies (DOH, DOLE, OSHC), HMO partners, and external providers
About you
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- PRC-licensed Physician
- BLS/ACLS certification
- 3-5 years medical practice; occupational health experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with DOLE/DOH OSH regulations
- Crisis and emergency medical response capability
- Proficient in Office365 tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Flexibility in work location
- Schedule: 9am to 12noon
